The choir was in fine voice as it entertained family and friends in a concert held in the village hall.
As well as the excellent singing, some exceedingly good cakes were also enjoyed.
Choir in Concert
After the restrictions resulting from the pandemic had been lifted, our choir was delighted to be able to resume its performances in the wider community. Its first visit of the year was to the village's care home to entertain its residents and staff with some Christmas songs.
With the village hall as its venue, Seedling class, having worked extremely hard in rehearsals, presented its Christmas Nativity pageant to an appreciative audience of parents, extended family and friends. Thank you for your support, which means a lot to the children and the staff.
We were profoundly saddened to learn of the death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We held a commemorative service in the village church. We offered prayers and reflected on the example of the Queen's commitment to dedicate her life to the selfless service of others.
