The Foundation Stage

This is the class page for Miss Haggarty and all of the Nursery and Reception pupils at Whitstone Primary School.

Play, exploration and growth are at the heart of our Foundation Stage. We strongly believe that children within the EYFS should be active participants in guiding their own learning. Here at Whitstone we not only aim for children to leave our Foundation Stage with the key skills they will need to carry them on their journey through school, but also with an embedded sense of awe and wonder regarding the world around them.
