Thank you to everyone who visited Class 3's E-Safety event today and filled in one of the surveys we handed out. Initial results suggest that one of the areas that families would like support with is in setting up parental controls. To support parents we have added links to the NSPCC on the school website.
The NSPCC has a helpline for parents. This provides parents with support on a range of issues, including setting up parental controls, adjusting privacy settings and information on areas such as games and social networking. Tel: 0808 8005002
Today parents also commented on the fact they had learnt about the CEOP button, which can be used by children and adults to report any concerns that they have online to the police.
Their website can also be found below:
For more information, parents and carers can also visit our 'E-Safety' page. If you didn't make it to our E-Safety event, you will be able to see some of the children's work in the school's reception.
