Book club is an after-school club run by our Reading Leader, Miss Burt. Pupils who attend are  given their own copy of a book which is carefully chosen by Miss Burt to suit the group's tastes and reading abilities. Each week, they meet for a hot chocolate and snack while they read a chapter and answer quiz questions on what they've read. Pupils also read to each other in pairs and do creative activities related to the story! Pupils love it and don't even realise they are developing important reading and comprehension skills whilst nurturing a love for literature!
